Abstract
We report an unusual case of renal malakoplakia appearing as a solitary tumour with spread beyond the confines of the kidney, affecting adjoining organs. The Michaelis-Gutmann bodies were extraordinary large (greater than 100 mu) and contained inconspicuous amounts of lime-salts. Their ultrastructural features, however, were identical with those previously described for Michaelis-Gutmann bodies.Entities:
