Intrasplenic pseudocyst of the pancreas.

K Okuda, T Taguchi, K Ishihara, A Konno.

Abstract

We describe a rare case of pancreatic pseudocyst developing in the spleen as a sequel to chronic pancreatitis in the absence of a recognizable pseudocyst in and around the pancreas. We assume that pancreatic secretions escaped through a tight adhesion between the tail of the pancreas and the splenic hilum.
