Five cases of post-ureteroneocystostomy with ureteropelvic obstruction are presented. The importance of a careful uroradiologic evaluation before surgery for vesicoureteral reflux is discussed in order to avoid failure to recognize ureteropelvic obstruction that may also require surgery.
