Abstract
The case of an eighty-two-year-old man with carcinosarcoma of the urinary bladder is presented. Morphologically, coexistence of two elements, transitional cell carcinoma and proliferation of spindle-shaped cells, is demonstrated, between which the transition is observed. The literature is reviewed, and the histogenesis of the sarcomatous element is discussed.Entities:
