Abstract
Cimetidine, a H2-receptor inhibitor was able to prevent the development of gastric ulcers induced in rats by chronic administration of prednisolone and hydrocortisone associated to fasting. The results suggest that cimetidine may be used in patients under long term steroid treatment.Entities:
