Abstract
Following the Moiré method published by Takasaki an apparatus has been established which allows the three dimensional measurement of human trunk shape. The medical applications are demonstrated by the examples of pigeon breast and scoliosis. The measurement of patients suffering from scoliosis and treated with halo gravity traction shows the possible value of Moirétopography analyzing the mobility of spinal segments. An example for the relation of the topograms to radiographs is presented.Entities:
