Improved smoking habits in 12-to-14-year-old Busselton children after antismoking programmes.

J Colquhoun, K Cullen.

Abstract

Immediate reduction in smoking habits has been sustained for 12 months amongst Busselton schoolchildren after antismoking programmes. Evaluation of the programmes demonstrates the value of emphasizing the immediate effects of smoking, and the need to give children the ability to cope with social pressures before they reach secondary schools.
