Abstract
A community survey was carried out in the area of a Primary Health Centre in Western Rajasthan to know the prevalence rate. A prevalence rate of 0.5 per thousand was found. Most of the cases were above 40 years and only 22.6% gave the history of contact with other members of the family. Most of the cases had tuberculoid (N) leprosy showing maculoanesthetic patches over upper and lower extremities. Face was involved in 9 cases and 3 cases had lost their toes.Entities:
