Safeguarding the kidney after non-traumatic perirenal haemorrhage.

P H Powell, A E Giddings.

Abstract

Three cases reports of the unusual condition of spontaneous perirenal haemorrhage are presented and their management discussed. An early accurate diagnosis and a trial of conservative management is suggested rather than emergency surgery which usually results in nephrectomy.
