Abstract
A case of fulminating liver failure during pregnancy, resulting from maternal cirrhosis in which fetal distress developed during labor and the mother died post partum, is presented. The effects of maternal unconjugated bilirubin levels and the possibility of kernicterus developing in utero are discussed.Entities:
