Case report. Budd-Chiari syndrome.

J G Blickman, C R McArdle.

Abstract

A ratio between the respective sizes of the caudate and the right hepatic lobes has been described as an adjunct to diagnosing cirrhosis. A case of Budd-Chiari syndrome is reported that shows that this ratio may also be indicative of this condition and is not entirely specific for cirrhosis.
