Malignant lymphoepithelial lesion of the parotid gland: poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinoma with lymphoid stroma.

C Redondo, A Garcia, F Vazquez.

Abstract

The case of a European patient with a malignant lymphoepithelial lesion of epithelial type is presented. This type of tumor has an exceptionally high incidence among Eskimos. To the authors' knowledge this is the first case reported with an ultrastructural study that demonstrates the squamous nature of the tumor cells.
