Abstract
We report a case of severe phenobarbital sodium overdose with a peak plasma concentration of 253 microgram/mL, normally considered fatal. The patient was successfully treated with forced alkaline diuresis. Treatment was unusual in that dopamine hydrochloride was used to sustain the diuresis.Entities:
