Reconstruction of the lower eyelid defect in Treacher Collins syndrome.

Abstract

A procedure to reconstruct the coloboma of the lower lid and to reposition the lateral canthus in the Treacher Collins deformity is presented. A composite upper lid flap forms the basis of the method. The results are satisfactory on long-term follow-up.
