Abstract
Acute appendicitis with perforation is almost unknown in the first week of life. We present a 7-day-old male infant with the hypoplastic right heart syndrome and clinically unsuspected acute appendicitis who died 7 days after the successful creation of a Waterston shunt.Entities:
