Abstract
Programs for use with the Apple II Plus microcomputer that generate graphic simulations of various linear and Michaelis-Menten pharmacokinetic models are described. The programs numerically integrate sets of differential equations for appropriate pharmacokinetic models. Multiple oral (or intramuscular), intravenous bolus, or infusion doses (continuous or discontinuous) may be administered in any combination. Doses as well as pharmacokinetic parameters may be changed at the end of each simulated dosing interval. The programs can be easily modified by users familiar with the BASIC programming language and offer an economical approach to pharmacokinetic simulation.Entities:
