Abstract
Selective obliteration of the testicular vein as a treatment for varicocele is described in 51 patients. Twenty-five patients had a history of infertility. A coaxial catheter-balloon catheter system was used. The procedure was done on an outpatient basis. The complications and success rates are comparable to postoperative results. Four of the 25 patients whose primary indication for the procedure was infertility have fathered children.Entities:
