Abstract
A case of contrecoup intracerebellar hematoma is reported. Only one other similar case has been reported in the literature. This complication must be considered in head-injured patients, particularly in the presence of neurological deterioration in association with a cerebellar contusion demonstrated on the initial computed tomographic (CT) scan. Serial CT scanning is particularly important because of delayed intraparenchymal hemorrhage, which in this case occurred in the cerebellum.Entities:
