[Quantitative study of the modifications observed in somatotropic cells of thymectomized rats. Opotherapic substitution with a thymic extract].

Abstract

Removal of thymus is followed by a degranulation of somatotropic cells, by an increase of the surface of the granular endoplasmic reticulum, and of the plasma level of growth hormone. An opotherapic substitution was realized with a thymic extract.
