Abstract
A 67-year-old woman was in the front seat of a stopped car that was struck from the rear by a truck. She was wearing a seat belt, and it was observed that her head did not strike the windshield. She immediately became amnesic and recovered in 72 hours. It is postulated that the transient amnesia was the result of a whiplash insult to the brain.Entities:
