Abstract
The authors report on the results of cyclocryotherapy of the ciliary body applied in 79 eyes with secondary glaucoma of various etiology. In 40% of the cases regulation of intraocular pressure and freedom from pain were achieved during an eleven-month follow-up. The results were remarkably favorable in cases of neovascular glaucoma (regulation of IOP in 50%) and secondary glaucoma following iridocyclitis and intraocular hemorrhages, which usually have a very poor prognosis.Entities:
