Abstract
Recurrent episodes of severe lung haemorrhages were successfully treated by laser coagulation in a 76-year-old woman with central squamous-cell carcinoma of the lung. The combination of flexible bronchoscope and laser coagulation made it possible to obtain selective haemostasis as far as the subsegments, with minimal stress to the patient. Laser coagulation is an important alternative in the palliative treatment of recurrent haemorrhages of the lung.Entities:
