Abstract
A nulliparous 30-yr-old woman, presenting with nonspecific systemic symptoms, was found radiologically to have distal ileitis (Crohn's disease). A partial ileocolectomy was done along with excision of the firmly adherent right adnexa. Pathologically, the ovary showed a suppurative oophoritis related to an ileo-ovarian fistula and a noncaseating granulomatous inflammatory response similar to that found in the ileum.Entities:
