Abstract
Salicylate concentrations in serum, endometrium, myometrium and fetus were determined 3 h after an oral dose of 1 000 mg of acetylsalicylic acid. The material consisted of 19 females (11 for legal abortion and 8 for operative treatment of fibroids). Tissue salicylate concentrations were at a level at which prostaglandin synthetase is inhibited.Entities:
