[Toxicity and cytostatic effect of PtCl2(NH3)2 after i. v. and i. t. injection (author's transl)].

M Wenzel, M Schneider, J Bier.

Abstract

In tumor bearing mice intratumoral injection of PtCl1(NH3)2-solution increases the cytostatic effect while decreasing its toxicity in comparison it i. v. injection. Intratumoral injections of water-in-oil emulsions of the platin-compound are less cytostatic but have a considerably lower toxicity.
