Abstract
A prospective study of bacteriuria in 100 prostatectomies is analysed. The author states that an antibiotic policy which treats only patients with fever, clinical discomfort, or isolated bacteriuria after the first postoperative month does not enhance morbidity, and lowers hospital costs.Entities:
