Abstract
A survey of the lower Wabi Shebelle Valley of southeastern Ethiopia was made to assess the presence of schistosomiasis haematobia in the modernized plantation of Gode and adjacent areas. The disease is present in Kellafo, Mustahil, and in the Burukur flood plain 100 km downstream from Gode, and absent further north. This is related to the ecology of the different areas.Entities:
