Abstract
Physicians are asked with increasing frequency to prepare individuals for travel in Africa. This paper presents an organized approach which includes medical screening, vaccination protocol, and malaria prophylaxis, as well as a discussion of personal hygiene for the tropics. African travel can be safe and enjoyable if the traveler is medically prepared and directs his or her concerns in an informed and intelligent way.Entities:
