Disc excision and anterior spinal fusion for lumbar disc protrusion in the adolescent.

Abstract

Twenty patients who had undergone disc excision and anterior spinal fusion during adolescence for lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion were reviewed at an average of four years and four months after surgery. Excellent or good results were found in 95% of patients.
