Abstract
Slipped proximal humeral epiphyses as a sequela of radiotherapy were identified in two children treated for Ewing's sarcoma in whom the shoulder was included in the field of treatment. The radiation doses were slightly greater than those in children developing slipped capital femoral epiphyses following radiotherapy. The lesser stress about the shoulder compared to the hip is believed to be the reason this is an infrequent complication of radiotherapy.Entities:
