[Diagnosis of inflammatory paranasal sinus diseases].

Abstract

In chronic sinusitis allergy is one important factor for the pathogenesis of the disease. Various others, such as genetically determined or acquired ciliary disorders have to be ruled out. In allergic rhinosinusitis, allergy treatment improves postoperative results considerably.
