[Partial, limited and subradiologic atypical forms of algodystrophy].

P Doury.

Abstract

Typical, fully developed forms of reflex dystrophy present no diagnostic problems. In this paper the authors discuss the lesser known aspects of this condition: forms with limited extension (partial forms and patchy forms) and forms with no radiological abnormality throughout the course of the disease (in certain cases, these could be forms limited in their depth and not involving bone). The diagnosis of these atypical forms is very difficult. The authors propose a group of criteria to support such a diagnosis.
