Abstract
The hematologic effects of intradermal injection of Loxosceles laeta venom in rabbits were studied with special reference to partial thromboplastin time, prothrombin time, platelet count and fibrinogen-fibrin degradation products. The in vitro effect of Loxesceles laeta venom on human platelet aggregation was also studied. Fibrinogen and platelet count decreased and fibrinogen-fibrin degradation products increased at 12 hr.Entities:
