An update on the holoprosencephalic disorders.

M M Cohen.

Abstract

Holoprosencephaly is an etiologically heterogeneous condition. Recently a number of new causes have come to light, several syndromes have been delineated or partially delineated, and a few associations have become apparent. This article updates the nosology of human holoprosencephaly.
