Transient high myopia in systemic lupus erythematosus associated with anasarca.

Abstract

An 18-year-old woman with generalized vascular decompensation secondary to systemic lupus erythematosus had transient myopia of greater than 10 diopters. Myopia disappeared after resolution of the vascular decompensation and anasarca.
