Abstract
Experimental and clinical observations suggested that after alkali burns of the eyes, neutralization of the tissues and the aqueous humor occurred with in hours. The further course of the disease was found to be an inflammatory reaction. Consequently, an anti-inflammatory therapy was introduced and employed with success in experiments and in the clinics.Mesh:
