E Bichler, H Rauchegger.

Abstract

27 patients with pachydermias of the larynx were treated with the aromatic retinoid Ro 10-9359, a derivative of vitamin A-acid. The treatment was successful in 17 cases, in seven cases the pachydermias were diminished and in three cases the therapy was without effect. Recurrencies were treated successfully in three cases. The aromatic retinoid seems to be an effective drug for the treatment of laryngeal pachydermias.
