Abstract
The influence, on the heart rhythm, of an acute myocardial ischemia produced by a coronary occlusion, is studied in ten opened chest dogs. After elevation of plasmatic free fatty acids, the consequence of a second occlusion on the cardiac rhythm is analysed. There is no significant correlation between the appearance of severe ventricular arrhythmias and high plasmatic levels of free fatty acids.Entities:
