Abstract
The authors used dantrolene as a prophylactic during ECT with a depressed patient susceptible to malignant hyperthermia. Succinylcholine and tricyclic and MAO-inhibiting antidepressants can precipitate malignant hyperthermia and were thus avoided.Entities:
