Abstract
Personal experience at the R. K. Khan Hospital in Durban, catering for the Indian population group, is reported. Observations are based on 31 101 case records of patients admitted over a 10-year period. Diagnoses on admission and their frequency, together with features of diseases of special interest, are presented. Compared with experience with Black patients, degenerative diseases are much more common than infections.Entities:
