Elimination of the prozone effect in the antiglobulin reaction by a simple modification.

A Salama, C Mueller-Eckhardt.

Abstract

A simple modification of the antiglobulin test (AGT) is described. It consists of one additional washing after antiglobulin incubation. This increases the sensitivity of the test and eliminates the prozone phenomenon in the direct as well as the indirect AGT.
