Abstract
This study aggregates previously identified characteristics with new demographic and behavioral factors. These variables were evaluated through multiple discriminant analysis which objectively selects those characteristics that best discriminate donors from nondonors. Results indicate that donors tend to be male, married with children, have rarer blood types, low-self esteem, low risk-takers, very concerned with health, and better educated.
