Blood lead concentrations: apparent reduction over approximately one decade.

G R Oxley.

Abstract

Blood lead concentrations of male subjects presenting for pre-employment examination during the period 1967-1969 have been compared with those obtained during the period 1978-1980. A statistically significant reduction of the geometric mean value from 20.2 microgram Pb/100 whole blood to 16.6 microgram Pb/100 ml whole blood has been found.
