Abstract
The specific binding of P. aeruginosa exotoxin A to NAD was exploited for the rapid purification of the toxin. Affinity chromatography on a column of agarose-N6-(aminohexyl)carbamoylmethyl-NAD resulted in an enzymatically, biologically, and immunologically active purified toxin preparation. Other NAD-agarose resins were not efficient substrates for toxin purification.Entities:
