Abstract
Hypertension is an uncommon complication of renal tuberculosis, and the association of accelerated hypertension with renal tuberculosis has not hitherto been documented in the literature; we present such a case. The diagnosis of renal tuberculosis may be difficult, particularly in the early stages of the disease, and in this case diagnosis was made by renal biopsy. The subsequent course of the patient was also particularly interesting, in that one year after starting treatment with anti-tuberculosis and anti-hypertensive medication, he developed sarcoidosis.Entities:
