Gallbladder polyp mimicking an obstructive calculus.

Abstract

The second documented case of obstructing polyp of the gallbladder-an extremely rare lesion-is presented. Symptoms were indistinguishable from those of acute obstructive cholecystitis. The mechanism of obstruction is hypothesized.
