Abdominal tuberculosis: observations in three cases.

R J Smith.

Abstract

Although pulmonary tuberculosis has decreased, extra pulmonary tuberculosis has shown a relative increase in frequency during the past decade. This paper discusses three cases of extrapulmonary tuberculosis which presented with abdominal signs. The patients were completely evaluated and surgery was done, followed by antituberculosis therapy with survival and rehabilitation of all three patients.
