Amino acid sequence of heat-stable enterotoxin produced by Escherichia coli pathogenic for man.

S K Chan, R A Giannella.

Abstract

The primary structure of a heat-stable toxin produced by a strain of Escherichia coli pathogenic for man has been established and is given below: Asn-Thr-Phe-Tyr-Cys-Cys-Glu-Leu-Cys-Cys-Tyr-Pro-Ala-Cys-Ala-Gly-Cys-Asn.
