Abstract
If the reviewer has learned anything from this collected series of patients, it is that aggressive management is necessary. Preoperative and especially postoperative arteriography is essential for a high limb salvage rate. The vascular repair should receive priority, and early aggressive fasciotomy may be necessary. If orthopedic repair is done first, it should be done expeditiously so as to not prolong ischemic time. External fixation is recommended in the management of associated orthopedic injury.Entities:
