Abstract
Recent hypothesis on the participation of the immune system in the control of ovarian function is supported by new experimental data. Schenzle's oversimplified endocrine explanation of problems of ovarian function control was critically examined. It is questionable whether the neuroendocrine paradigm should not be revised in the light of the modulating role of the immune system in the ovarian function control.Mesh:
